Troubled by the world’s current state of affairs? You’re not alone. Your life can be turned upside down, with everyone and everything in chaos.

Anxiety usually causes you to experience an increased level of stress. Negative thoughts consume your mind, making it difficult for you to feel any sense of happiness. Sacrificing the well-being of yourself and others is not a healthy choice to make.

Fixing the chaos in your life takes priority over everything else, especially when you find yourself struggling with personal and life challenges.

When we neglect our own well-being first, it can be tough to function like a healthy, happy individual.

Only by taking care of oneself first will it translate into better quality relationships and increased levels of purpose.

Now is the time for revealing truths about your beliefs, sense of freedom and desires to expand.

As the universe is helping us, now is better than ever to work on our chaos.

What exactly does chaos mean?

Chaos has so many different meanings, so it is really up the individual, to me it’s being frazzled in a time when you have so much going on or a state of confusion when unexpected situations arise.

It describes how you may feel overwhelmed by the responsibility and expectations from your own thoughts that there is no relief as soon as one expectation is fulfilled, another responsibility pops up and starts echoing those same messages.

It has both mentally and physically debilitating effects (chronic fatigue diseases, headaches) that change your personality, transform into someone who would rather avoid social situations (not just with children), overeating because of the extreme stress, a sense of hopelessness that there will never be relief.

That’s why you need to know how to deal with chaos before it has any chance at manifesting itself into your life through unhealthy coping methods such as drinking too much alcohol, overeating or substance abuse.

Self-work is important in order to get a better understanding of yourself and will help you get grounded again so you can deal with your chaos.

If we don’t look at how happy we are in life as an ongoing process instead of only periodic events (moments), then when things get tough they seem unbearable because we are not prepared for them. That’s when the chaos starts to creep in, and we can’t find a way out.

Quick ways of managing chaos

The first step is identifying what needs to be organized or fixed, then prioritizing it so you can work on your most important tasks first.

Once you have identified the issue, create an action plan by writing down how to manage/lessen or eliminate your chaos. Simplifying your life, making goals and taking steps to achieve them in a structured way will lead to less chaos.

You’re the only one who can change things.

You don’t need your parents, your spouse, your boss, or anyone else, only you.

It is a false belief to think changing others can make you happy or improve your life. Other people might contribute to your happiness, but only you can change yourself.

You can make different choices to improve your life.

Putting yourself at the bottom of your priority list typically leads to abandoning the things that matter, which puts you and those around you in a chaotic situation.
