Ways of Spiritual Growth that Are Powerful and Effective

Ways of spiritual growth involve one’s values, beliefs, and purpose, it can be achieved in several ways—both physically and mentally.
There are many ways that people grow spiritually, but I will explain four of them that I personally know and practice.
The basics of spiritual growth are to be able to use the power of your mind to transform; you must first realize that it is our responsibility to control our thoughts and focus our minds on what honours God, Source, The Universe; in this manner, we can change the direction of our thoughts.
Secondly, we must be ready to admit our failures and assume responsibility for them. When we deny our faults, we delay our spiritual growth.

Thirdly, we must commit to fixing our actions and faults and integrating them into our everyday lives.
We all should work towards having God-like qualities and sharing them with others.
The qualities are Love, Joy, Peace, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control.
Spiritual growth does not mean you have to read the Bible, attend Church or pray daily to grow spiritually. Of course, you can do these things for your spiritual growth.
Ways of Spiritual Growth
SELF-LOVE
Self-love is a state of appreciation for oneself that grows from actions that support our physical, psychological and spiritual growth.
You are the most critical person in your life, so having a high regard for your own well-being and happiness is essential.
You have to love yourself first before you can expect others to do so.
Taking care of your own needs and not sacrificing your well-being to please others.

It also means not settling for less than you deserve.
Enjoy life by doing things that make you smile and happier, then make sure that these are part of your daily routine.
Learn how to stay cool, calm and collected when faced with stress.
Try smiling as much as possible and avoid frowning for a whole day!
When we smile, others will smile as well; others will laugh with us when we laugh. We all know this to be true.
This will help build up enough confidence that it radiates outwards towards all those around us who may need some positive energy themselves from someone else just like them.
There are numerous methods to look after ourselves, but determining what sort of self-love you require is your individual responsibility.

JOURNALLING
When journaling, make sure you are in a place that is comfortable and relaxing. It’s a time when you can de-stress and wind down.
Before journaling, make sure you centre yourself or ground yourself; then that becomes a powerful way to go beyond your thinking mind.
Writing down what emotions and thoughts are being triggered that make you angry or sad gives you anxiety or stirs up painful memories—your most private fears, thoughts, and feelings.
The process of overcoming these emotions and discovering the core belief you have about yourself. This awareness is part of spiritual growth.
Keeping a journal helps you create order when your world feels like it’s in chaos.
MEDITATION
There are so many types of meditation, so it’s essential to find a way that is easy and works for you. As a result, you’ll do it on a regular basis since that is the key to all of it.
Meditation helps people focus on breathing, which intern enables you to relax and calm down.
It also allows a person to become more mindful of what they’re doing and feeling at a given moment in time, leading to better decision-making skills.
You also experience a feeling of deep inner peace.

I would recommend trying several kinds of meditation on YouTube in order to discover the one or several that are perfect for you.
Meditation takes you to all different levels of Consciousness, which means Spiritual Enlightenment and Spiritual Awakening.
EXPANDING YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS
Meditation, contemplation, and prayer all have the potential to alter or create human Consciousness in different ways because they all work on different levels of awareness.
Prayer directly links to the subconscious mind, which is where most of our instincts and deep-seated emotions come from.
Meditation or contemplation can lead one into altered states of Consciousness because they require focusing exclusively on something with such intensity that it creates a state of detachment, transcendence, and awareness beyond normal waking Consciousness.
Spiritual growth can also lead one to a state of unity consciousness, which is conscious awareness of the unity between oneself and God, Source or the Universe.
In this state, love pervades everything, leading to acceptance and joy in every moment despite any differences or hardships that may be present.

Other ways of spiritual growth are exploring your spiritual core, looking for deeper meanings, thinking positively, yoga, tai chi, time alone in nature, chanting, spiritual retreats, and spiritual reading.
Remember that your values, beliefs, and purpose might be developed in many ways—both physically and mentally—as one grows spiritually.
Don’t be afraid to explore your spirituality. No one approach works for everyone.
Try different ways and do any of these that feels right for you. Add them to your day to day life.
Spiritual growth is a lifetime journey rather than a destination.
Has no limits; freedom can be found in any situation.
The key is finding ways to become more self-aware through your experiences, whatever they may be.
